Fun for little hands.... toddlers by Mysmartkid

Extremely impressed with my recent delivery by Mysmartkid age 3-4/5 years old.

Opening the box with excitement, we found SPINNER SHAPES, pop out shape puzzles which you can use as a puzzle, teaching shapes or even use the spinner card to incorporate a game.
Next we found a cute little bag of BLOCKS, perfect for building, shape recognition and learning to identify colours.

Using the PEGBOARD PLAY, was such fun for little m. He made rows of colours, which helped him develop his fine motor skills, at the same time, learning to identify his colours and counting skills, while crossing his midline.

Last but not least mom gets a full colour guide page, explaining each activity, a parent manual and little M, got his hoohoo : owl backpack.

After receiving a Mysmartkid box, aged 2-3 years, for our son.
It was delivered promptly and to my front door.
Matthew loves his little owl backpack, his puppets, wooden puzzle and loved having fun with his playdough apparatus. Mom has enjoyed having her very informative parent book.
The owl backpack makes for wonderful creative play and the joy of carrying their own stuff
around, on their little backs.

The handpuppets are a fun extension of the pretend play that young children engage in so readily.
It helps young children develop creative skills by forcing them to use their imaginations.
The real world becomes more real to children who have opportunities to play with puppets, and encourage better vocabulary.

The wooden puzzle Forms part of the development of doing puzzles , from  early childhood right through to adulthood. Puzzles are an important educational learning tool for toddlers and young children as they provide many skills , mental learning benefits and opportunities. It improves their self esteem, social skills, hand eye co ordination, fine motor development , problem solving and cognitive development

The play dough kit is great to add to your own homemade playdough.

Here is a great recipe

the enhancing of social and emotional development and learning opportunities
It aids
  • Language development. .
  • Literacy Learning.

This great service allows for age appropriate educational benefits at the right time, and the convenience of front door delivery .

    For my PND readers

    To my PND readers (specifically)
Where am I at this stage of my life 2 years 7 months down the line ...
I started my blogging less than a year ago and the pace at which it has grown has been wonderful, but if it was just for the sake of helping my fellow women, I would be happy. The feedback has already been so special. If anyone would like to be added to the overcomingmom watsapp group please email me : overcomingmom@gmail.com

This festive season has been a good rest, hasn't it.Lazy I'd say eek. I was rather anxious about our trip to Durban by aeroplane And how the holiday would work out, but it was actually perfect, everything went very well, and I guess the worry wasn't worth it ( however it does show growth & healing, because past holidays have NOT been easy)

For me my aim this year is to blog even more, to venture out even more: as this mama  must stay busy as we have the next big change in our life, little m is going off to school, only 3 x a week, but when he has been exclusively around me for 32 months, one finds the adjustment tough. Do I question - as to why I can't just be like the other moms and just do it, yes I do, but being gentle on myself , it's ok, it's me and my little battle.
Yikes...... Not really looking forward to the day, in just a few weeks time.
But once I'm settled and the Change is old Hat,
My next goal is to come completely off my meds, last year I was weaned to half and hopefully this year I'll be weaned off completely. Shu, if I remember back, it wasn't easy on the body and mind, but I can do it, yes I can.

For the rest of you battling out there, in this area specially whether it's a newborn, baby or toddler, be strong, keep talking and know that I'm always here for you,

    Take care
